You and your vocal group are invited to join us for our TWO-DAY non-competitive festival, featuring SESSIONS each day and JOINT CONCERTS each evening with our guest artists.*
*Please note: as always, there is an additional charge per person for evening tickets.
The format for the 2010 SWCC Vocal Jazz Fest includes more hands-on educational clinics/workshops than ever before. If you direct or are part of a performing group, you are automatically registered to attend the workshops.
But in an exciting move, the SWCC Vocal Jazz Fest is now open to GUESTS as well!
This festival is aimed toward YOU, whether you are a:
• Music Director (without a group)
• Music Director (with a non-performing group of students)
• Student not belonging to a performing group
• Vocal Jazz or A Cappella Lover
In addition to on-stage vocal group clinics, practical workshops will be presented on the following topics:
• Vocal Improvisation
• Vocal Percussion
• Circle-Singing
• Solo Jazz Singing
• Learning about the Jazz Rhythm Section
• Ensemble Repertoire Suggestions
And VERY special sessions on each day with New York Voices!
